He is actively involved in research activities and his main interests are in algebraic geometry, non-associative algebras, and their applications. He specifically works with Hom-algebras, a generalized version of most classical algebras already studied and widely applied in Physics. He has also been keen on exploring applications to Coding, Finance, and Data Science. He is also an alumnus of the International Science Program (ISP).
Dr Elvice is involved in working with several research groups including ISP/SIDA-supported projects such as Eastern Africa Algebra Research Group, Swedish Network in Algebra and Geometry (SNAG), and the Nairobi Geometry Group among others.
