The Institute of Mathematical Science Research day involves Academic staff and especially PhD students in the Institute who presents their work. It host a series of short oral presentations as well as a poster session by Academic staff and PhD students from the institute, which ends with a cocktail.

Presenters are given 15 min to present their work and other members are expected to contribute to the discussions. There is a maximum of two oral sessions per day to allow for constructive feedback plus a separate poster session (if available).

The presenter are expected to share his/her work two weeks before the presentation for others to read and give comments. These sessions are organized once a month (the last Friday of the month).
