Kindly click on Financial Aid link for more information. Our ideal is that no deserving student should fail to get a place in SFAE owing to lack of financial means.

Education Financing: To help manage education financing better, Strathmore has partnered with Commercial Bank of Africa and the World Bank's International Finance Corporation to offer low-interest loans to students pursuing degrees and diplomas at the University. They are also eligible for loans from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

Strathmore University has also partnered with Kiva, to offer a unique student loan which would enable low income students to obtain tuition fee loans and laptop loans. This partnership has the potential to give many Kenyan students, who otherwise might not have had the chance, the opportunity to attend and excel in higher education.

Kiva is an online platform that connects field partners to social investors. Strathmore University is Kiva’s first non-traditional partner specializing in student loans.

The tuition and laptop loans are available to undergraduate degree students in the full-time programme. To be eligible, a student must attend a Kiva Loan information session to understand the loan requirements and application process.
