Greetings and welcome to my web page. I am a lecturer at the Strathmore Institute of Mathematical Sciences (SIMS) at Strathmore University, Kenya. I hold an MBA (Finance) from United States International University, Kenya as well as a Bachelor of Education in Economics and Accounting from the University of Nairobi. I am a certified public accountant of Kenya (CPAK). I am also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) fromYork St John University, UK.

I have an accomplished academic career having taught a variety of finance related units both in the academia and professional courses for a period spanning 12 years. The courses I teach include Behavioral Finance, Principles of Finance, Corporate Finance and International Finance.

My research interests are in the area of financial management and specifically in behavioural finance. My doctoral research seeks to establish the effect of behavioural biases on the investment decision process of investment groups (popularly known as chamas) in Kenya. I have also engaged in research in higher education matters.
